About CURE|THE|ITCH
This site serves as a central repository to store information related to personal projects I am or have been working on.
Most of the items here are open source projects or related to open source projects; that is most, not necessarily all. Some items here are closed-source or proprietary, or projects not related to software at all. A "project" could be software, graphic or web design, home renovations, hobby related, education related, politically motivated, related to music or anything else I choose.
To be clear, I am not a programmer or developer... I enjoy writing applications/programs - but that is not my trade. I am a Systems/Network Engineer and Unix Administrator Specialist in the U.S. Army. I am not a Software Engineer, a handyman, a scholar, a politician, a linguist or a musician. While I make every effort to do things correctly; this is just for fun. If a project found here does not meet your expectations, I would love to hear about it, and have been known to address most issues promptly, but that is no guarantee.
My name is Kyle Huff, and occasionally I get the itch to do a variety of things - this site is merely a catalog of such endeavours.
I have many interests, even some seemingly at odds with others.
I am the Father of 2 wonderful children and the husband to a wonderful wife/mother.
